Bloodbikes are the Cat’s whiskers!
Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes are proud to announce two new Patrons for our Charity, famous bikers Danny John-Jules and Steve Keys.
Best known for his role as Cat in the hit comedy series Red Dwarf as well as Dwayne Myers in the BBC’s Death in Paradise, Danny is an avid biker who along with his friend, producer and writer Steve, have starred in a number of exciting motorbike TV shows including four series of The Easy Riders. They also produced and directed the Unlikely Bikers recently seen on Channel 4.
Danny said “I’ve been a big supporter of the life saving work that Blood Bikes provide, so to be asked to become a Patron of such a worthy cause is a great honour. I’m looking forward to helping raise awareness whenever possible”.
Steve agreed and added “Having been a motorcycle rider for a very long time now I have been aware of the invaluable network that Blood Bikes provides and showing that motorcycles save lives. I am delighted to have this opportunity to become a Patron and hope I can help make a difference “
Welcoming Steve and Danny to the organisation, NABB Chair Peter Robertson said “Patrons are key to any charity. NABB patrons help to raise our profile and spread the message about the good work we do. We are proud and pleased to have Danny and Steve, two very well known bikers, on board and we hope to do some great work together.”
