Yeovil Freewheelers is the oldest operational blood bike group in the UK. It was established in 1978, based on the model setup by now-defunct Stevenage Freewheelers group operating in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
Yeovil Freewheelers cover south Somerset and parts of Dorset, serving the needs of Yeovil District Hospital and its satellite community hospitals across the area. The charity operates two Honda Deauvilles and a Yamaha FJR1300.
